Subject: service tax authorization letter

Dear Peter

I, Jack Fredson am writing this letter to authorize you to collect the service tax for all repairs and troubleshooting services provided by you to customers and clients from now onwards. This service tax is to be collected in addition to the normal service cost.

Government has authorized all IT repair companies to charge a service tax of 4.5% from now onwards and this amount is to be included in the bill of services that you present to the customers. I give you permission to collect this additional amount along with the basic charge and submit it in the company’s cash deposit. You are required to inform the clients and customers about this tax so that there is no scope for misunderstanding or lack of communication.

This authorization remains valid until your employment contract gets over and you shall in no way be allowed to collect the tax after that date.

So please take this as a formal permission,

Thanking you,

Jack Fredson
