Please find enclosed my application for a scholarship from your esteemed university.
It has been my dream to study at the Colorado State University, and by doing so I will follow in the footsteps of my older brother, who graduated from your university two years ago. I am attaching my resume, academic and non-academic mark sheet with this cover letter. You can see that I have had a successful high school career, with exceptional grades, community involvement and also excelled at extra-curricular activities. I am both dedicated and motivated. I hope to build on this momentum as a student at CSU.
But I am in urgent need of grants and scholarships to ensure that I can succeed at CSU and attain my goals. Also enclosed is the requested financial information. I look forward to hearing from the scholarship committee.
