Dear Mr. Kabra,

With much sadness, I am officially tendering my resignation as a sales representative of this company effective one month from now.  I have used up my maternity leave in the past two months but I need to resign since I have had complications after giving birth via caesarian operation.  The doctor has advised me to refrain from any stressful and physical activity for at least a year which includes my work.

This is a difficult decision for me to make but one that I have to make for my own health.  I want to thank everyone for all the help and support when I was a sales representative in the company for four years.  I also thank the company for providing numerous opportunities for career growth.

I have already turned over the documents and materials related to my work.  I wish the company more success!
