Sub: Education Concession for Low Income Students

Dear Madam,

I, Rose Barley, am a student of 1st year of Bachelors Degree-Accountancy in your esteemed university. This is to inform you that I do not have sufficient fund to support my education in your college and wish to request for financial concession on the standard education fee.

With due respect, I would like to inform you that the total education fee for Bachelor’s Degree-Accountancy is around $15000 per year in your college. I belong to a very underprivileged family where my father earns our breads and butter by cleaning the church in Chyamina and my mother is sick and has been suffering from chronic disease for last 3 years. In this circumstance, I am the only earning member of my family and I have a very low income from my job. I work in the day shift in a budget hotel as sous chef and attend my college in the evening. I earn approximately $12 on per day basis. I always had zeal to study in your renowned college and I also heard that you consider concession on education fees for the brilliant students. I am enclosing my last 10 years’ reports and certificates of my school to present my past educational records in front of your good self.

I, therefore, will be grateful to you if you kindly consider my case and provide me concession on the educational fee, so that I can continue my studies in your college. I promise to study hard and secure good marks in my examinations.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,

Rose Barley
