Job interview appointment letter is written by a potential employer to an applicant who is found eligible for the job that he/she has applied for. Through this letter, the applicant is informed and appointed for a job interview so as to discuss about his candidacy and application procedures. A sample letter is given below for reference.

Dear Mr. James Wills,

I am writing this letter on behalf of the HR team of Fortune Enterprises Limited. This is in reference to the job application letter that you have submitted to us on 30th May 2014 regarding the post of a marketing executive. We are pleased to inform you that the Board of Directors found you eligible for the post and have selected you for the process of job interview.

You are requested to report our company’s head office on 5th June 2014, sharp at 9:00 AM. On arrival, you have to meet Ms. Martha Charles on the reception desk and mark your presence for the interview proceeding. With this interview appointment letter, we would like to inform you that you have to carry a copy of your resume, 5 passport size photographs, educational certificates and other supporting documents, on the day of your interview.
