Dear Sir,

My name is Arthur Anderson and I have received an invitation for interview scheduled on the 24th of June 2014 from your organization. I would like to intimate you that I am compelled to decline the interview invitation.

My parents are very aged and living alone in Frankfurt. I have been trying to relocate to Frankfurt and looking for many job opportunities but had been futile so far. Yesterday I got a telephonic interview call from ABC Corporation with whom I had been following up for a long time. I have cleared all the interview rounds with them and have to leave to Frankfurt within next two days for salary package discussions.

I therefore want to decline your interview invitation. I am very, much thankful to your organization for taking time to consider my application for the position of sales manager in your company.  My sincere apologies to your organization for declining such a good offer from a reputed organization as yours.

Thanks once again for your consideration.

Yours sincerely,

Arthur Anderson
