Subject: Grievance against bad room service
Dear Mr Moore,
I write this letter to record my formal grievance regarding the room service that I had received in your hotel during my stay here from October 15 to October 20, 2011. Although I have been a regular customer here and prefer staying at your hotel, this time I was extremely disappointed at the inefficiency and rude behaviour of your staff. I had to wait for over an hour before my dinner was served in my room because of which I was late for my appointment too. When I complained about this, the staff seemed indifferent and unapologetic.
Please take some action regarding this matter because this really ruins the reputation of your hotel and also causes great inconvenience to your guests.
