Consent Request Letter

By | September 16, 2014

When you need the consent of an individual to do a certain work then you need that person’s consent and hence you need to write a consent request letter. These types of letters can be written by students, employees or any other person to request the consent for an activity or a task.  The tone of this letter needs to be formal and must be direct.

Dear Mr. Rogers

Subject: Consent Request Letter

Through this letter I intend to seek permission from you to be able to publish your criticism of my book ‘The Shadow of Yesterday’ that you were so kind to send me.

I will be publishing the second edition of my book and after the warm response of the first edition I feel humbled to have received such kind words of criticism from such great and able critics like you. Please understand that your criticism along with those of some other critics will be printed on the back cover of my book, if you consent to it.

Since you had sent me your review on a personal basis it is important for me to know that you have consented to it. Please also note that only a couple of sentences of your criticism will be published and you shall be notified of the exact lines that will go to print.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanking You

Neal Ray
