Condolence Acceptance Letter

By | October 3, 2014

A condolence acceptance letter is often written as a reply to the condolence letter. The acceptance letter must be written to thank the person for showing their love, support and sympathy at difficult times. The letter can contain details like how it helped you in overcoming the sorrow and stress that you were facing.

Dear Jason,

Subject: Condolence acceptance letter

It was very thoughtful and supporting of you to write a condolence letter for my situation. Your letter was timely and although I received so many letters and emails from many other people, your letter was the one which comforted me the most. I read it at times I feel low and weak from inside. Thank you so much for writing such a thoughtful condolence letter.

It has been two weeks now since John passed away and although there is still a lot of emptiness within me but I am feeling much better now. I am really very grateful to God for the several years that he gave me with my husband which I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. Although I don’t have John by my side to support me, I am highly pleased and happy to know that friends like you will always be with me to support me. With the support of friends like you, I have again gathered my strength to rise up and live a fulfilling life which would not have been possible otherwise.

Sincerely,

Lisa Ray.
