Charity Proposal Letter

By | August 1, 2014

A charity proposal letter is written with the aim to introduce the charity event plan to individuals and companies who might be willing to contribute to the same. The letter must contain a detailed overview of the event plan and should contain significant points which can impress the recipients. A sample letter is given below for reference.

Subject: Charity proposal letter

Dear Sir,

I am writing to letter on behalf of Support for All Trust to inform you about our annual charity event that will supposedly held on 5th August, 2014 at the Square Ground, London. Similar to the previous years, we are planning a theme and a program according to this theme.

On the basis of our committee decision, we have decided “child labor” as our theme and the program will contain dance, skit, and recitals based on the same. The committee members will be made responsible for the program arrangement.

On behalf of the organization, I am proposing the ABC Corporation to kindly review, sponsor and support our noble cause. The complete details of the event have been attached separately along with the letter. We request you to please go through them so that you can make a better decision.

The fact that you are already a part of many charity events is the reason why we think that you will definitely support our cause too. Hope we can be associated for longer time duration. We would be glad to receive support from you. In case you have any further questions, kindly call us at 555-777-232.

Sincerely,

Sarah Jane
