Dear Mr. Gurijala,

I am an entrepreneur who opened a small store last year.  I took a loan from your company to help me start my business and it helped me a lot in opening and maintaining my small business.  I have been paying my dues on time and have not failed to pay every month.  Last month, however, a fire broke out in the store, burning down many of our products including the cash that was left in our cash register.  Because of this, I was not able to pay my dues for two months now.  I have been helped by family and friends and will be opening my store again soon.  I assure you then that I will be able to pay my dues within the month.  I hope this will not mar my good record with you since the delay in my payment is due to an unfortunate accident.
