Business Apology Letter

By | June 11, 2009

A business apology letter is written so as to make peace with a client while owning up to a wrong done to them. This is in the form of a letter that comes with a promise to correct the wrong. It should be written in a business letter format.

Dear Sir,

We apologize for delivering the ordered items way behind schedule. Since you are a first time client, it was difficult for the people at the dispatch department to locate your new branch. After ending up at a different branch of your company, the delivery people chose to come back to our offices and seek counsel. By the time they did, it was too late to make the delivery. We ask that you may bear with us and guarantee you that it will not happen again. I would also like to inform you that this does not happen on a daily basis and it was beyond our control.

We look forward to a great relationship between our company and yours. In case of any other thing regarding that order please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us again and we will be very glad to help.

Yours sincerely,

Bruce Markham
