Branch Transfer Application Letter

A branch transfer application letter is written by a person in order to request for transfer of his/her branch. When a company has several branch offices either in the same city or all over the country then it is common for an employee to look for a branch transfer due to several reasons. The person seeking such a transfer must address this letter to the branch manager where he/she is currently posted so that he/she can process the request. These types of letters are formal in nature and must mention the reason due to which the transfer application is made.

As per our last discussion you are already aware that my son has to go to school for the specially-abled children in Baltimore and this is the primary reason we had to move to Baltimore so that he did not have to take the strains of travel every day. However it is now getting difficult for me to travel to Hagerstown from Baltimore and back every day, 6 days a week.

As our bank has a branch in Baltimore, if you could facilitate my transfer to that branch it would be really helpful for me.
